Lisa McEvoy

I’m a qualified BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor and trained mindfulness practitioner offering in-person appointments in Hertfordshire and online therapy across the UK. I have over a decade of professional experience supporting adults with their mental health and wellbeing. Common areas I work with include; childhood trauma, anxiety, depression,  low self esteem, relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement, stress management, well being and resilience. My approach is client-led, relational and collaborative, so we work together at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.

Whether you are experiencing emotional or psychological distress or are seeking greater self awareness and personal growth, I offer a tailored, holistic, whole-body approach to mental health and well-being. Trained to work in an integrative way, I am able to blend multiple theoretical approaches and evidence based techniques to support meaningful and lasting change. My work is also trauma-informed, with a strong focus on choice, safety and collaboration.

I offer appointments both in person and online depending on what is most convenient for you.

In person appointments are held in a private and confidential therapy room located in central Hertford.

Online appointments take place via Zoom, a secure and encrypted video calling platform.

During our initial session we’ll take some time together to understand and clarify your needs and agree on how best to move forward.
